Supervision
One to one supervision sessions with Jane Fenn
Supervision is seen as part of good professional practice. Supervision
has a restorative as well as informative function. Workers in the
helping and caring professions usually seek support from someone with
experience and knowledge to inform them in their individual work.
Supervision is usually planned regularly on a monthly basis and for
1.5 hours per month. Supervision is seen as a process where a relationship
is built and mutual trust and respect help the individual worker to
be more effective and to feel less burdened by their work load and
work experiences.
